Fitness Impact

The Corporate Wellness program is one of the most extensive programs we have to offer here at FI. Our goal is to help improve the health of each employee, build a strong, motivated and energized (Work Team) which will increase growth and ultimately bring down the cost of medical benefits. We work with the employer and employee from the beginning (setting goals-losing weight and body fat, increase energy, reduce stress, increase productivity of work team, building team work, and etc.) to the end (accomplishing those goals-less absenteeism, focused and motivated work team, lower health care cost, less work place injury, etc.). We provide professional service to all employees giving them the knowledge, motivation and guidance to FULLY transform their body and health and ultimately enhance the corporation’s productivity and growth.

Obesity increases costs in the workplace. The annual per capita increase in medical expenditure and absenteeism associated with obesity range from $450 to $2,500 per obese employee. The estimated cost of obesity at a firm with 1,000 employees is about $285,000 per year.

• 10 drink alcohol heavily
• 10 have high blood pressure
• 10 have diabetes (5 don’t know they have it)

These unhealthy lifestyles and habits all contribute to the escalation of healthcare cost. In addition they result in decrease productivity and increased injury and absenteeism. Most are the result of treatable illnesses, conscious decisions, inadequate information and ignorance.
